The Lone Tree

A Lone tree in the middle of snowy field in Lika. Like is a region in Croatia, roughly bound by the Velebit mountain from the southwest and the Plješevica mountain from the northeast.

This dramatic-dreamlike photo was contributed by Tomislav Mavrovi?. The photo is captured using his Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 with Lumix 14-140mm lens.

Here’s a photo contributed by Carlo Jaminol. One of his awesome photos from their recent trip at Blue Lagoon, Musket Cove, Plantation, Lomani, Port Denarau, Fiji. The image above is taken using his Panasonic DMC-TZ15. This image is undeniably marvelous. It’s like one of Microsoft’s default wallpapers in Windows 8.

“I would like to contribute this photo during our recent trip to Fiji. I never seen this camera this good. Love to use it again for my next overseas trip.“, Carlo said.

Mall is an experimental photographer and a visual artist. She was a former Canon, Kodak, Sony, Nikon user for many years. Currently, she’s a Lumix user, and we do hope that she’ll stay a Lumix user forever!

Here’s a majestic shot by Panasonic UK of a rocky mountain somewhere in planet Earth. Our apologies because we really don’t know the exact location. We also don’t know what’s the name of the mysterious mountain in the photo. The image was taken using the spanking new Lumix GX1 with 14-42mm lens. The GX1 is the newest addition to Panasonic’s LUMIX G range.

The Wall Clock

A wall clock is a clock that is attached on a wall. A clock is an instrument used to indicate time. The word clock is derived from the Celtic words clagan and clocca meaning “bell”. In today’s general usage, a “clock” refers to any device for measuring and displaying the time. The clock is one of the oldest human inventions.

The wall clock in the picture above is an electric clock. A Scottish clockmaker named Alexander Bain patented the electric clock in 1840. The photo above is taken by Jehzeel Laurente using a Panasonic Lumix GF1 with 20mm/1.7f Leica lens at Flapjacks, Theater Mall Greenhills, San Juan City, Philippines.

The Majestic Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is a pre-Columbian 15th-century Inca site situated on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley in Peru. It was built in the classical Inca style, with polished dry-stone walls. This historic site was declared a Peruvian Historical Sanctuary in 1981 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. And in the 2007, Machu Picchu was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
